Dear Community Leader,

 

The Neighborhood Leadership Institute, in partnership with the Harvard Community Services Center, is proud to announce the Fall class of the Ward 1 Leadership Academy.

 

Class will commence with a retreat on Saturday, September 26th, 2009. All other sessions, with the exception of the bus tour, will be held on Tuesday evenings at the Harvard Community Services Center. Classes begin at 5:30 p.m. with a light meal and will end at 8:30 p.m. This program is free. 

Your attendance to every session is essential to the success of the Academy.

 

We are seeking to continue our legacy in leadership by identifying and supporting those in our community who can benefit from exposure to new tools for leadership and community-building. The Neighborhood Leadership Institute is experienced in creating opportunities that engage leaders and nurture community-building strategies. 

 

Please find enclosed an application and a schedule for our upcoming class. The deadline for all applications is Friday, September 11, 2009. Feel free to share these enclosures with residents that you recognize as committed, experienced or upcoming leaders in our community. Return the application to the Neighborhood Leadership Institute.
