About the Neighborhood Leadership Institute
At Neighborhood Leadership Institute (NLI), we believe that leadership begins at the community level. Our Leadership Development programs are designed to equip individuals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to drive positive changes in their neighborhoods.
Position Summary:
As a part of NLI’s management team, this position provides the leadership to support the Neighborhood Leadership Program (NLC) in its mission to recruit, engage and develop grassroots leadership rooted in addressing and leading real community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Includes leadership and management of all aspects of (NLC) program operations, curriculum development, and community outreach and civic engagement across Greater Cleveland.
• Develop, update and implement program materials, curriculum, data systems and evaluation tools
• Conduct analysis of ongoing program evaluation to measure impact and effectiveness
• Recruit and manage program alumni volunteer program
Qualifications:
• Minimum two years’ experience in program management, implementation, facilitation, planning and development, and community engagement
• Demonstrated meaningful experience in community-based organization
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively as part of committees, task forces and other partnership teams
• Demonstrated experience and ability to speak publicly and effectively communicate with diverse audiences
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required, social work or related field
Compensation:
Salary Range: $50,000–$55,000 annually, based on experience. Comprehensive benefits package included.
