Join us for the
All-Star Appreciation Event on November 6, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Neighborhood Leadership Institute (NLI), 5246 Broadway Avenue, as we celebrate the people and programs making a meaningful difference in our communities. This special evening will bring together all NLI departments to showcase their work and recognize the volunteers, participants, partners, and supporters who help bring our mission to life. Each department will share an overview of its programs, highlight accomplishments, and lift up personal stories that demonstrate how this work is not simply changing programs—it is changing
lives, families, neighborhoods, and futures.
At its heart, the All-Star Appreciation Event is about celebrating
everyone who contributes to NLI’s impact. Through recognition, storytelling, and connection, guests will experience the breadth of our work and the shared commitment that brings it all together. We will celebrate the individuals who show up when they are needed, the volunteers who give their time and talents, the participants who choose growth and leadership, and the community partners who believe that stronger communities begin with empowered people.
Every person has a story, every contribution matters, and every act of service helps create a ripple of change that reaches far beyond the walls of NLI.
This evening is more than an appreciation event—it is a moment to
pause, reflect, and remember why we do what we do. It is an opportunity to look into the faces of the people who have carried the vision forward and say,
“Thank you. We see you. We value you. Your work matters.” Together, we will honor the challenges we have overcome, the victories we have achieved, and the lives that have been touched along the way. The evening will conclude with a celebratory gathering honoring our collective achievements and the extraordinary people behind them, with entertainment details to be announced.
