Neighborhood Leadership Institute is seeking a reliable and organized community support intern to support program operations through organization, data entry, and administrative assistance. This individual will work closely with the Program Director of Out-of-School Time Initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit and community-based programming. This is a volunteer, unpaid position.
The intern will assist with:
Organizing program materials, records, and files
Entering and maintaining program data and documentation
Providing general administrative and organizational support
Assisting with various program-related tasks and projects as needed
Responsibilities may vary, offering exposure to different areas of nonprofit and program management.
Time Commitment
2–4 hours per week; Available Tuesday through Friday
Days and times are flexible and can be discussed based on availability

College and graduate students interested in social work, education, or nonprofit leadership

Participants will gain:
Hands-on experience in nonprofit operations and program support
Exposure to out-of-school time initiatives, social work, special education, and community-focused programming
Mentorship from an experienced licensed social worker with a Master’s degree and background in special education
Professional skill development in organization, data management, and communication
Insight into leadership and community impact work
