Special SNR Workshop Series in Collinwood and West Park
SNR Workshop Series

Schools as Neighborhood Resources (SNR) is a free recreation and community program for all ages coordinated by Neighborhood Leadership Institute, and in partnership with the City of Cleveland and Cleveland Metropolitan School District. We invite you to a special SNR Workshop Series offered in Collinwood and West Park presented by the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. The series is open to youth, families and community members. This will be a hands-on, educational workshop experience led by museum educators. Each session includes interactive learning, demonstrations, and activities connected to science, history, and natural discovery.

JANUARY 28 — Ohio Animal Adaptations
Learn how Ohio wildlife survives in different environments. Explore camouflage, movement, senses, and physical traits that help animals thrive.
FEBRUARY 4 — Ohio Indigenous People
Discover the history and culture of Ohio’s Indigenous communities, including traditional foods, tools, housing, and storytelling practices.
FEBRUARY 18 — Bodyworks
Interactive exploration of how the human body works. Examine body systems, muscles, bones, and what keeps the body healthy.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
Participants must register in advance or have a completed SNR registration form on file. Capacity limited to 25 participants per session. Early arrival recommended.
